Horniman Museum, London

At the heart of ‘Utsavam: Music of India’ were the sounds of the musicians, music and instruments of rural India. This was made possible using custom designed, interactive a/v stations, directional sound systems, and a cinema with effective technology to stop sound seep.

Over 300 objects, hands-on interactives and some of the most evocative images we have had the privilege to work with amplified the story. Despite its look of permanence, this exhibition is designed to be dismantled and travel.
